Awarded Contract at Customs & Border Protection (CBP) for Network Architecture

Woodbridge, VA– ExecuTech Strategic Consulting in partnership with our prime, Vision Technologies and teammate eXcedo Solutions was awarded a 5 year, $13.9 million contract to support the Customs & Border Protection (CBP) network architecture team.  The CBP Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides the information technology (IT) solutions that ensure mission success. OIT is comprised of four program offices and two information technology (IT) engineering services divisions; the program offices develop the applications that enable the CBP business processes. OIT’s Enterprise Network & Technology Support (ENTS), formerly known as Technology Operations Division (TOD), is responsible for architecture, design, engineering and management of the CBP network infrastructures as well as the DHS OneNet wide area network (WAN).  ENTS provides operational day-to-day technology support to all CBP field locations, technology training, enterprise WAN, security operations and helpdesk services. ENTS provides 24×7 local area network (LAN), wireless, surveillance and detection technology support to all CBP field offices, performs field outreach, manages field modernization projects and overseas all field deployments. ENTS is aggressively working to modernize CBP field locations deploying a common network infrastructure.

ENTS’ Network Architecture & Engineering Branch (NAEB) provides reliable and responsive network architecture and engineering services to OIT. NAEB is organized into a Network Architecture Team and a Network Engineering Team under the Chief Network Architecture. ExecuTech (with our prime partner Vision Technologies) will be supporting the architecture team efforts to design, maintain and evolve the network architecture to ensure it can support the evolving application demands placed on it by new technologies and growing business processes. NAEB is focused on making this team a center of excellence and will be closely coordinating the Network Architecture activities with those of the CBP Enterprise Architecture group.
